UO Spring University Commencement

Join us for a very special UOTeach & CTED graduation walk at the COE Hedco Kendal Plaza (rain or shine).

All UOTeach MEd /CTED MS students are encouraged to participate in the 2020 modified virtual graduation celebration ceremonies!!

9:00-10:00 AM University of Oregon Campus-wide Commencement Celebration (Live and pre-recorded)

10:30-11:00 AM COE Commencement Ceremony
This ceremony includes many of the elements of our live commencement exercises.  We’ll play pomp and circumstance along with the Fight Song; the Dean will give a speech, and we will recognize individual programs, as well as our doctoral graduates. Speakers will include the Dean and Department Heads with the participation of a selection of students.

For graduating students who wish to have a printed copy of the COE Commencement Program (which lists the names of

all of our graduates) please click here to order one by May 11.  There will also be a .pdf available online on the day of the ceremony.

3:00-4:00 PM – Native graduation (NASU) virtual

Personalize your Graduation

The UO is partnering with StageClip and MarchingOrder to personalize your individual recognition slide for the virtual school and college ceremonies. Check your email early in May for an invitation.

Dress It Up!

If you already have a cap and gown, or an outfit that you really like — you may wear that. Otherwise, the Duck Store offers COE Education stoles, cords, Master keeper gowns and hoods (education is light blue) – – everything from A Al Carte Regalia to full Graduation packages. Campus NASU, BSU, CMAE, LGBTQA3 Alliance, veteran soles and cords.

Order online for all your DUCK needs. All graduation packages include a one-year UO Alumni Association membership.

Apply for UO Graduate Degree

As a reminder, at the start of the term you are graduating, you are required to apply for your Degree with the Grad School

At the end of the term, UOTeach will confer your degree with the Graduate School.

NEXT Steps! 

1. Once your modified edtpa is scored and available to upload, you will need to complete a College of Education TSPC Licensure Recommendation Request form (complete this form at the conclusion of your licensure program so that we can track and expedite recommendations) 

2. Submit a TSPC preliminary licensure application
