Class attendance is mandatory. During your master’s program, there are likely to be many events in your school field placements that you would like to attend which conflict with your program classes. These conflicts between program and field placement can be disheartening but you to remember that you are a graduate student first (for now). Your learning and program courses are your priority until you graduate in June. There will be many future opportunities for parent meetings, music and sports programs, back to school and end of year events as you enter your teaching career.
Academic Course Late Work
All course assignments are required prior to receiving a grade for the course. Any late assignments will be immediately reduced to half credit for one week and then to no credit after one week. The late assignment will still be required by the end of the course in order to complete the class.
