Career Preparation Workshop

Almost 60 UOTeach teacher candidates attended the “Preparing for Interviews” workshop offering practical ideas for job hunting and interviews. Faculty reviewed tips for teacher interviews and reviewed the Inter-district Interview Questions compiled from Eugene 4j, Springfield, and Creswell district partners. Questions have evolved overtime and current questions tend to include role playing equity issues in the classroom.

Guest UOTeach alumni, Elizabeth Lyle, Lang. Arts high school teacher in Sweet Home; Melissa Erp, kinder teacher in Bethel; and Rebekah Whittaker, 4th gr. teacher in Springfield shared their own journeys in hunting for a job and their experiences in job interviews.
